Chocolate peanut butter fudge is my favorite type of fudge and I realized I hadn’t shared my recipe with you. Today, I’m changing that!
If you know anything about our family, you know we love sweets. I can’t figure out the source of this recipe because I found it back when I wasn’t on Pinterest. This recipe sits in my recipe box on an index card instead…does anyone else do that anymore?
This recipe is so easy and quite yummy, so I wanted to share in case you are looking for a go-to fudge recipe. Does it get any better than chocolate and peanut butter? I think not!
Ingredients:
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
Directions:
1. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper {or wax paper} and have space cleared in your fridge before you begin.
2. Melt the peanut butter chips, 2 Tbsp. butter, and 1 cup of the milk in a medium saucepan. Be sure to stir continuously to get it melted evenly.
3. Place the peanut butter chip mixture in the pan and spread out evenly. Stick the pan in the fridge to cool.
4. Melt the chocolate chips, 2 Tbsp. butter, and remaining milk in a small saucepan. Be sure to stir continuously to get it melted evenly. Be careful as the chocolate chips melt faster than the peanut butter ones.
5. Spread the chocolate chip mixture over the peanut butter mixture evenly. Place in the fridge and let cool for several hours.
6. Take pan out of the fridge and transfer the whole block to a cutting board. Let it soften a little bit and then cut into desired pieces. You want them to be relatively small as it’s sweet. A pizza cutter works well.
Place them in whatever container you wish to give away to a friend or sit on the couch and enjoy it for yourself! 🙂
