Nothing Major

October 22, 2009 by Sarah

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted, which sort of bothers me, but there’s honestly not a whole lot to report here. I’ve been pretty busy this week, which has been good.

Kevin’s family is coming to visit this Saturday, so I’ve been trying to prepare. We’re really looking forward to their visit, but the fact that this visit was originally planned for them to meet Andrew is another reminder of what we’re missing……who is missing.

I’m praying that this will be a sweet sweet visit as a family and that the Lord would not allow me to focus on the sadness. I wish that the marker was in so we could show them while they are here. Perhaps we can still visit the cemetary together and leave some fresh flowers.

On another note, I did have a great time reconnecting with some old college friends yesterday. We hadn’t seen each other in years (pathetic, I know), but just picked right up where we left off. It’s funny seeing old friends and thinking back to those good ole days when we had no worries and life was so carefree!

Man, a lot has happened since then! Sometimes I wish I could go back to those days, but then again, I wouldn’t be the woman that I am today. I love looking back to who I was then and seeing how the Lord has changed me and matured me. No matter what life has brought since then, the Lord has been with me through it and I’m so grateful.
