I was looking at these 3 the other night and my thoughts were overwhelmed with the word grace.
According to the Oxford Dictionary, there are 7 different definitions of the word grace (noun), but I’m choosing to focus on #3 for now.
Definition of grace (in Christian belief):
the free and unmerited favour of God,
as manifested in the salvation of sinners
and the bestowal of blessings.
I’ve done nothing whatsoever to deserve the grace that the Lord has given me. It blows my mind that when I was spiritually dead in my own transgressions, He chose to come down and give me life. And even though that would be enough in and of itself, He chose to lavish me with these blessings! I am one blessed girl!
Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
