How to Cut a Watermelon

August 1, 2014 by Sarah

It’s not truly summer until you’ve eaten watermelon.  I’ve had a couple so far this summer and hope I can snag up a couple more before summer comes to a close this next month.  🙁
But, if you are like me, cutting up the watermelon can be a big pain.  I think it’s because they are so big and I’m always afraid I’m going to cut myself.
Heather Likes Food shows you how to cut a watermelon.
I stumbled upon this a couple of weeks ago and was reminded of how genius it is when we had watermelon again tonight after dinner.  Y’all…this method takes very little time and you only end up with 4 rinds to throw away.
Give this a try and let me know what you think!
{Thank you, Pinterest!}
