My Favorite Drug Store Concealer

February 21, 2015 by Sarah

Since I quit working outside of the home, one of the things I’ve had to cut back on is cosmetics.  I used to be a BeautiControl consultant, but I’ve been on a mission recently to find some good drug store makeup.

The jury is still out on foundations {I’ve been trying some different ones out and haven’t decided which I like best}, but I’ve officially found a concealer that I love, so I thought I’d pass it along to you!

Here’s the thing.  When it comes to concealer, I like something that is lightweight, yet provides enough coverage for underneath my eyes.  {I may be in my 30’s, but I need some help with dark circles}.  It’s a delicate balance, really.

I love this concealer because I feel like it’s the perfect combination – it is heavier than a liquid, but light enough that it doesn’t look too heavy when I put foundation on over top of it.  Even if I don’t wear any other makeup, this concealer helps give my eyes a “boost.”  It comes in a variety of colors, but I have very fair skin.

The links above are for Amazon, but I’ve recently purchased mine from CVS and Target*.  Here’s the thing though – the packaging has recently changed and I almost panicked when I couldn’t find it at first.  The tube has more of a turquoise look to it now.  It looks more like this picture below.

If you are looking for a good, yet inexpensive concealer, give this one a try.  The price vary a little, but you should be able to snag it up for less than $10.  You can probably find it for much less if you wait for a drug store sale or use coupons.
