While I’ve been intentionally trying not to fill our schedule up too much over the holiday season, we’ve had some fun activities over the past week.
Last Saturday was our youth group’s Christmas party. We love working with the students on Sunday mornings during Sunday School, but we especially enjoy hanging out with them outside of church. And they are all so sweet to our kids. Since we love the Wrights so much and I wasn’t sure how parents would feel about me including their students on my blog, I opted to show you the hosts for the evening. Their tree is enormous and they have the perfect home for entertaining!
On Monday afternoon, I took the kids over to the Nelsons house for some cookie-baking. Savannah enjoyed unwrapping all the kisses for the cookies, but wasn’t as fond of rolling the dough. She immediately wanted to wash her hands off. Brady roamed around a bit and then munched on some Cheerios. It was so nice of the Nelsons to have us over for some fun and to send us off with our own container of sweets!
Tonight, we finally made it out to see some lights on the Tacky Light Tour. We will probably head out again since we didn’t see all of our favorite houses. We left later than we planned and our little man was starting to fade fast. And not quietly! 🙂 I’m hoping we can also try out some new ones that we’ve heard about.
What have you been up to this week?
