Patriotic Outfit Ideas

July 4, 2014 by Sarah

Happy Birthday, America!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and can take some time to remember the wonderful freedoms we are blessed with in this nation.  Our freedoms certainly weren’t free.If you are still looking for some fun ways to celebrate today, check out this post from earlier in the week.

If you are looking for some 4th of July themed foods to bring to your picnics or BBQs, then check this out for some ideas.

I don’t know about you, but I think the American flag is beautiful and I love the idea of wearing something with red, white, and blue on Independence Day.  But, as much as I love the American flag, I don’t want to be plastered in it on 4th of July.  That’s just me though.  🙂

In the hopes of getting some inspiration, I scoured Pinterest for some cute 4th of July outfit ideas and I thought I’d share some of my favorites here.

Outfit #1

I love the navy with white polka dots and the cute red accessories.
And I’m dying over the red TOMS – so cute!
Outfit #2
This is a really simple outfit, but I think that’s what I really love about it.
Sometimes the simplest outfits make the biggest statement.

Outfit #3
This outfit totally screams Audrey Hepburn {whose style I happen to adore}!
I can’t think of a reason I’d have to dress up for the 4th, but if I ever had one, this would be my go-to outfit.

Outfit #4
I’m a sucker for navy/white stripes.
This outfit screams comfort – and there those red TOMS are again!

Outfit #5
As I said, I’m a sucker for those stripes!
I love the look of the stripes with the crisp white jeans.
The splashes of red are subtle, but they work.

Outfit #6
This is probably my favorite outfit.
It looks casual and comfy, but the earrings dress it up just enough.
LOVE those earrings!

Do you like to dress in patriotic colors for the 4th of July?

Which of these outfits would you actually consider wearing?
