Brady’s 2nd Birthday Celebration {Chuck E. Cheese Style}

October 10, 2014 by Sarah

This year, we decided to keep Brady’s birthday celebration low key.  Who am I kidding though?  We keep most things low-key these days.  Being this pregnant will do it to you!  ðŸ™‚

Since we took Savannah to Chuck E. Cheese when she turned two years old, we opted to keep the tradition alive for Brady as well.

We had just seen my side of the family for my niece’s birthday the weekend before and Kev’s folks are so far away, so it was just our little family that made the outing.  Since Brady’s birthday fell on a weekday, we went there for dinner that night.

Believe it or not, it was really pleasant.  Let’s me honest, Chuck E. Cheese is not always the most relaxing place!  We sat and enjoyed our pizza without too much commotion.  The kids enjoyed the little show as we ate, and Brady loved meeting Chuck E. the mouse.  Savannah didn’t show much interest in him.

After eating, we let the kids enjoy using up their tokens.  Other than a couple other families, we essentially had the place to ourselves.  At first, I didn’t think we had bought enough tokens, but towards the end, Kev and I were playing games so we could use them all up!  The kids enjoyed themselves and after the tokens were gone, we had enough tickets to get each child 1 piece of Laffy Taffy – ha!  It was perfect for them.

It ended up being pretty late when we got home, so we ended up singing and doing cake the next evening.  Our little 2 year old didn’t even know the difference!  ðŸ™‚

Happy birthday, little man!
