It’s no secret that I am not a fan of cold, but Valentine’s Day has always been a bright spot in the middle of the cold days of winter. We keep things pretty simple around here, but I do love to have some fun with the holiday of love!
One of the ways I’m planning to make Valentine’s Day a little more special this year is to incorporate lunchbox love notes for my kids. I write my kids lunchbox notes very occasionally, but I want to be more intentional with it and I figure Valentine’s Day will be a perfect time to get in the habit!
I created these Valentine’s Day themed lunchbox love notes to make things a little easier on myself. Plain printer paper will do the trick, but I like to print them on cardstock. There are 14 of them in total, so they can be used leading up to Valentine’s Day and then a few days after to keep the love flowing!

I always loved when my mom jotted down lunchbox notes, even if they were just on a simple white napkin. My kids also light up with words of affirmation, so I’m looking forward to surprising them with these lunchbox notes.
Who knows, maybe I’ll start a new habit and make some for other fun holidays throughout the year!?
