Father’s Day 2011

June 20, 2011 by Sarah

I am so behind on blogging that it's not even funny.  I've got a little list going with things I'd like to post about - things that have been on my mind and heart that I'd just like to get out.  Nothing major, really, but life just manages to get in the way sometimes.  We're on vacation this week, so hopefully I can steal a little time away and start working on those … [Read more...]

Mother’s Day 2011

May 14, 2011 by Sarah

Mother's Day has the potential to be a wonderful day of celebrating moms, but for many women, it can be a painful reminder of what should have been.  For me, the closest thing I had to experiencing a "normal" mother's day was back in 2009 while I was pregnant with Andrew.  I remember very well being offered a flower along with all the other mothers, which was so nice.  Even though I … [Read more...]

April 28, 2011 by Sarah

We celebrated Easter this year at home in Richmond.  It was nice to be home and go to our own church with our little gal in her cute dress.  It was also nice to be able to visit the cemetery on our way to church since we were already running too late to be able to make it to Sunday School.  Seeing Andrew's gravestone on Easter morning was such a real reminder of the importance of … [Read more...]

We’re All Stillborn

April 7, 2011 by Sarah

I was listening to the radio about a week or so ago and was excited when an oldie, but goodie came on Christian radio.  I remember listening to Caedmon's Call like no one else during my college years.  I had a few of their CD's and listened to them religiously.  Catchy tunes, lyrics that spoke truth, and just all around encouraging songs.  LOVE Caedmon's Call!  I think I … [Read more...]
