Who’s Teaching Whom?

October 31, 2013 by Sarah

One of the things I enjoy about getting older is slowly realizing how wrong I was about so many things.  I came out of college thinking I had it all figured out and I shudder to think of how many ignorant things I probably said or thought in the process.  I knew marriage would be hard {because everyone told me so}, but I had no idea just how hard it would be until I got … [Read more...]

Adult Insecurities

September 25, 2013 by Sarah

photo credit The older I get, I find that I'm getting more and more comfortable in my own skin.  It's one of the things I enjoy most about aging, actually. January 26, 2012 by Sarah

I'm a people pleaser.  I don't know if I've mentioned it here on this blog or not, but it's true.  While I don't think it necessarily consumes me, it certainly is something that I struggle with and must keep giving up to the Lord.  I hate confrontation.  I want people to like me.  I want people to agree with my decisions. Through the course of our house hunting, … [Read more...]

A Girl’s Weekend

October 5, 2011 by Sarah

This past weekend, Kevin and I (along with my grandmother and Savannah) travelled up to Baltimore for the weekend.  I went up a few days early with my grandmother and Savannah and he joined us on Friday, so that he could watch Savannah while the ladies in my family (my mom, sister, aunt, and grandmother) went to hear Beth Moore speak downtown.  Since the Friday session would go … [Read more...]
