There Are No Perfect Words

August 19, 2009 by Sarah

Many people have been asking about how I'm doing physically. Thanks so much for asking - sometimes I even forget that I actually did deliver an 8 lb. baby only 11 days ago! I'm actually doing really well physically. I'm still a little sore, but overall I feel like my body is getting back to normal (which I actually have mixed feelings about - that's an entire blog post in and of itself). I'm still … [Read more...]

Andrew’s Story: First Trimester

August 17, 2009 by Sarah

I was thinking a lot about Andrew when I woke up this morning. I cried some with Kevin and spent some time just staring at his little pictures. I still can't get over how beautiful he is! I feel so blessed that we were able to see what he looked like. During those final days of my pregnancy, that's what I anticipated most - seeing what our little man would look like! :-) I will always treasure the … [Read more...]

Happy Birthday Paw Paw

August 17, 2009 by Sarah

Today is my grandfather's 83rd birthday. My grandmother had flowers put in her church in memory of him (he passed away on Valentine's Day back in 1986) since today is his birthday. She suggested we take the flowers to the cemetary together since Andrew was buried at the same plot. I thought it was a great idea, but was anxious to make my first visit to Andrew's grave.  Monday was the … [Read more...]

There Are No Tears In Heaven

August 16, 2009 by Sarah

Many of you have asked how we're doing, and to be honest, we're doing alright. Don't get me wrong, there are moments when I feel like my chest could cave in, but overall, I feel so blessed that God is reminding us that there are good times ahead. I've been thinking a lot about heaven lately and I find myself yearning for it more than ever. Yesterday, I was listening to music while I was on the … [Read more...]

Andrew’s Story: Trying to Conceive

August 14, 2009 by Sarah

Today is Andrew's due date. After nine months of waiting, the date has finally arrived and boy does it look and feel differently than it was supposed to. I had a feeling that Andrew was getting impatient towards the end and had a gut feeling he'd be born before today. I just had no idea it would all turn out this way. Since today is Andrew's due date and a week since his delivery (I'm going to … [Read more...]
