Ways We Save: Reusable K-Cup Filters

July 7, 2015 by Sarah

This week's way we save post has been one of my favorites so far this year.  It's all about coffee and how I save money with reusable K-cup filters! My love of coffee is somewhat recent.  I started drinking coffee when I began working full-time in an office after college graduation.  I have never been a morning person, so I needed the extra dose of caffeine before starting the work … [Read more...]

Ways We Save: Making Baby Food

May 19, 2015 by Sarah

Making baby food is a great way to save money and it's so much easier than you might think!

When we renovated our home back in 2012, … [Read more...]

Ways We Save: Buy Used Children’s Clothes

April 14, 2015 by Sarah

This week's Ways We Save post is something I've talked about here before.  But, since spring and warmer weather is here, it's time to start thinking about switching out children's clothes.  Say "goodbye" to those sweaters and pants and say "hello" to the t-shirts, shorts, and swimsuits.   There are definitely times when I score some great deals on brand new clothes {or we are … [Read more...]

Homemade Wood Floor Cleaner

February 25, 2015 by Sarah

Learn how to mix up your own homemade wood floor cleaner. You can keep your hardwood floors clean without buying an extra product at the store. I love the character and charm found in older homes.  One of my favorite things typically found in older homes is hardwood floors.  I love the imperfections and creeks found in the hardwood floors of older homes. Both of the homes we’ve owned … [Read more...]
