My Semi-Annual Haircut

November 28, 2012 by Sarah

I am the world’s worst at taking care of my hair.  I wish I was one of those people who had naturally beautiful hair and could just wash and go!  But, I’m not and I honestly don’t have the time or energy to spend much time even thinking about my hair, much less getting it cut!  So, yet again, I was in dire need.

While I was visiting my family last week, I took advantage of having free babysitters and went to get my hair cut!  My sister and I actually both got our hair cut, so that made it more fun.  Gotta love girl time!

Here are the before pictures (I’m embarrassed to even show them – I haven’t had a cut since April and this picture is with zero styling)!!!

Yuck-O!  Glad that is over!

And, here are the after pictures.

Both sets of pictures are with zero styling and basically just air-dried and then brushed.  I’ve yet to actually style it myself (like I said, my hair has been the last thing on my mind these days), so I’m curious how it will look once I try and do something with it.  I was pleased when the stylist did it, so it has potential!  She took off 2 inches from the overall length and then added layering and face-framing.  She wanted to do a side bang, but I was a chicken….maybe next time though!
