Halloween 2014

November 1, 2014 by Sarah

This year’s Halloween costumes were a no-brainer.  Savannah has been obsessed with the movie Frozen ever since she saw it in the theater last winter.  Rather than try and lead her in a more creative direction, we just went with it!
She was very specific though.  She wanted to dress up like Princess Anna in her coronation dress.  I opted to purchase it from Target rather than try and make it myself {or strong arm my mom into making it}.  I got such a great deal on it that it made the most sense.
Since Brady likes Frozen too, he dressed up as Olaf.  I decided to keep it simple though and made him a cute Olaf hat {tutorial HERE} that he could wear with a white shirt.  I just stitched black felt circles onto a white shirt, so that I could remove them easily after Halloween.  I thought it worked out well and he was so cute!
I ended up staying home with Davis since I knew he’d need to eat while the older kids were out trick-or-treating.  I hated to miss being with them, but there will be next year.
The kids had a great time and got stocked up with lots of candy!
I can only imagine what next year will hold.  Just maybe I can get myself organized in advance and we can do a family costume!  ðŸ™‚
