Confessions and Andrew’s Crib

March 17, 2010 by Sarah

I've been wanting to post for the past couple of days, but so many things are swirling around in my head that I don't even really know what to say. I'll start with a confession of sorts. Lately, I have found myself thinking some pretty terrible thoughts. I've also fallen victim to playing the comparison game. I won't disclose everything here since I've already confessed to the Lord, but let's … [Read more...]

7 Months Without Andrew

March 7, 2010 by Sarah

Today Andrew is celebrating his 7th month in heaven! While driving to church this morning, I told Kevin how I couldn't believe it's been 7 whole months! Although it sometimes feels like decades since I held Andrew, the other part of me just can't believe how quickly the time has passed. If Andrew was here with us, he'd be a 7 month old - crazy! I can't help but think.... What would he be … [Read more...]

My Wiggle Worm

March 2, 2010 by Sarah

I loved when Kevin would put his hands on my belly and be able to feel some of what I was feeling from our … [Read more...]

February 12, 2010 by Sarah

I broke down and did it.......yeah, that's right. "What?"....you ask? Well, after 7 whole months, I finally got a haircut! I hadn't been back for a trim since July, about 4 weeks before we said goodbye to our son, so needless to say, my hair was getting long. It was a mess and needed shaping up so badly!! I remember very well being there back in July and discussing how excited we were to meet … [Read more...]

6 Months Without Andrew

February 7, 2010 by Sarah

Andrew is celebrating his 6th month in heaven today, and although I'm so happy for him, I still miss him terribly. Reaching the 6th month mark seems like a big deal to me. It's been half a year since I held my sweet son. It's been half a year since we laid him to rest a couple of days later. While it seems like an eternity since we've seen our precious Andrew, it also seems like it was just … [Read more...]
