Here are some pictures from our time with Kevin’s family last week. I wish I had taken more, but here they are. First stop, Skyline Drive, which is part of Shenandoah National Park. Kevin’s father LOVES national parks so he was eating it up. He was bummed that we only made it about a third of the way through the park. Darkness fell and we decided to hit the road for home. Sorry Johnny, maybe next time!!

Our next stop was Williamsburg. When married to a history teacher, visiting historical sites is a must. I actually love Williamsburg, so it’s ok by me. Anything beats an empty battlefield!!

We spent the last day here in Richmond since we were so pooped from all the travelling around the state. (I didn’t get any pics from our trip to the Living Museum in Newport News.) Before heading to see an IMax show at the Virginia Science Museum, we stopped over at the cemetary to leave some fall flowers and get a family picture. We had a blast together last week as a family, but would have loved for Andrew to have been here with us. Luckily, he’s experiencing some pretty awesome things up in heaven. I can’t wait to hear all about it when I get there!!
