Merry Christmas!
We hope you have had a wonderful day celebrating the birth of the Savior with your friends and family. My heart has been so full today and I am so thankful!
But at the same time, I can’t help but think about those who may not be experiencing the same. Loosing our first son, Andrew, has given me this ever present sensitivity to those who may be hurting, which is sometimes overwhelming. While I can’t make the pain in the world go away, I can pray….which I found myself doing numerous times today.
My prayer is that in the midst of either the joyful times or the lowest valleys, we all might find our joy and peace in Christ alone. He is enough.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
