Checking In

January 10, 2013 by Sarah

I just wanted to check in real quick to let you know that we are still alive, although it’s seriously taking me forever to get back in the swing of things since Christmas.  We had so many plans for projects and things we’d mark off our to-do list last week while Kevin was still off from teaching, and we spent so much of the time in our pj’s and sleeping late.  Either we were in total relaxation mode or we were wiped out and needed to recover!  I’m not sure which!

This week has been uneventful because both kiddies are rocking a rough sounding cough with lots of drainage to boot.  They both sound pitiful, but a quick trip to the pediatrician made me feel better.  They are fine, and time will hopefully do the trick to beating it.  We’ve been hanging around the house this week, hoping we don’t spread the germs or pick up any new ones!  Cabin fever is alive and well, but hopefully we can break out this weekend!

I’m hoping to get caught up on some blogging I meant to do in December, so stay tuned!  Here’s what I have in mind and feel free to hold me to it!

– Savannah turns 2
– Christmas in Mississippi (maybe in 2 parts)
– Brady turns 3 months
– House disaster explained?  (still reeling somewhat from the crazy 7 months of renovations)

I hope your 2013 is off to a great start!  (Oh, and that’s another possible post!  Dare I make some goals and post about them?)
