Davis at 2 months

December 17, 2014 by Sarah

It's hard to believe another month has gone by and you are 2 months old! Here is what you are up to these days. * You are eating 7 times a day, usually waking up around 5am or so.  Nursing is going really well, and I'm so thankful!  You are actually pretty fast, so I was relieved to hear from the pediatrician that your growth is great.  It is always a relief to know you are getting what … [Read more...]

Savannah’s 4th Birthday Celebration {Sesame Street Style}

December 12, 2014 by Sarah

I originally thought we'd let this be the first year we did a "friend" party for Savannah, but it ended up being too much for this sleep deprived mama of a newborn.  I just couldn't get it together, so we'll have to wait until next year.  Instead, we opted for a family birthday celebration.  We made an entire day out of it, which was so nice. Savannah at 4 Years

December 10, 2014 by Sarah

I can hardly believe I am the mother of a preschooler.  Looking at Brady and Davis really brings to light how quickly our little gal is growing up.  I feel so fortunate to have a front row seat to it all!  Thank you Jesus for making me mom to this precious girl. Here is what you are up to these days. *  You are a good eater overall, but have your stubborn moments. … [Read more...]

Thanksgiving 2014 Recap

November 29, 2014 by Sarah

The last couple of years, the school system has been giving everyone the day off on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  It's definitely helped ease some of the pain of travelling the I-95 corridor for Thanksgiving.  We went up to Baltimore to spend the holiday with my family and had a great weekend. There's really not too much to report, except that we ate and relaxed a lot. … [Read more...]

Davis at 1 Month

November 18, 2014 by Sarah

Wow!  Where on earth did the first month go?   Here's what you are up to. * You are eating 8 times a day.  Nursing was a bit of a struggle for the first 2 weeks {you were tongue-tied and we had your frenulum clipped}, but you seem to have the hang of it now, which makes me so happy.  The good news is that you have already had bottles and do well with either one.  It's … [Read more...]
