Close Quarters

October 31, 2009 by Sarah

It seems like forever since I've had time to post and honestly, I've missed it. We had a busy week with Kevin's family in town, and I enjoyed just living in the moment with all of them (Kevin's mom and dad, sister, brother-in-law and niece). They came in last Saturday and left yesterday, so we had a nice visit.  I wasn't quite sure how it would work out with 6 adults and 1 toddler in our … [Read more...]

Thankful

October 24, 2009 by Sarah

I've spent most of the day preparing for Kevin's family's visit tomorrow. I got the grocery shopping done this afternoon and have the menu all planned out. We're really looking forward to their visit, but the fact that this visit was originally planned for them to meet Andrew is another reminder … [Read more...]

Heavy Heart

October 18, 2009 by Sarah

My heart is heavy today. Perhaps the rainy, dreary weather has made it worse, but I'm just in a funk today. I've had some good moments during the day, but I just can't seem to snap out of this gloomy mood I'm in. I guess that's the crazy thing about grief - it's not something you can really control. I just got back from a quick trip to MD to have a meal with my family. We met up at Texas … [Read more...]

Simply Beautiful

October 16, 2009 by Sarah

Thanks to all of you who lit candles yesterday in honor of our son, Andrew, as well as the other babies who are deeply missed. As a mother without her child here, it means the world that they are remembered. We appreciate the continued prayers and support. I don't have anything major to share tonight, but I did want to post some of my favorite pictures of our little guy. I was looking … [Read more...]
