Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day 2009

October 14, 2009 by Sarah

For those who may not be aware, October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day (as well as my dad's birthday - love you lots Dad!!). Please feel free to check out this website www.october15th.com. Before losing Andrew, I had no idea such a day existed, but as a grieving parent, I'm grateful that it does. I yearn to find more ways to honor our son as well as the other little babies who … [Read more...]

Fireproof

October 12, 2009 by Sarah

Kevin suggested we watch a movie last night and he randomly pulled out Fireproof from our ever growing DVD collection. October 7, 2009 by Sarah

I've been wanting to post something all day, since today is the 2 month mark of Andrew's birthday. My thoughts are all over the place today, and I was trying to wait until I had them all together before posting something, but I find myself drawn here just as I am. Kevin and I don't have any lavish plans for the day, which sort of bothers me. After a busy weekend away and a busy day yesterday, I … [Read more...]

Genetic Counseling and Birthday Weekends!

October 3, 2009 by Sarah

Kevin and I met with the genetic counselor bright and early this morning! I was reminded why I have no desire to work in downtown Richmond - TRAFFIC! Actually, it wasn't too bad, but I did realize just how spoiled I was by my 10 minute commute to the Circuit City corporate office. No interstates were needed and I even mastered the cut-through. It was a pretty sweet deal while it lasted. … [Read more...]
