Christmas Eve service can go either way at our church. Some folks like to dress up to the nine’s while others like to keep it more casual. I was so tired by the time Christmas Eve came that I was definitely in a more casual mood.
In all honesty, if we hadn’t been lighting the Christ candle for advent, then I probably would have showed up in jeans. But, since we would be in front of the church, I figured I had better at least wear something other than denim.
Here’s what I ended up wearing. It was actually quite comfortable, but I felt like it was dressy enough. {Please excuse the random wispy on my forehead – how annoying!}
I decided to wear a pair of khaki pants with my long red shirt. It’s almost required to wear red at a Christmas Ever service, right?
I decided to layer on my denim blazer and black/white houndstooth scarf.
I wore some black flats {with grey socks for warmth} and my sparkly hoop earrings.
